Celine Dion’s sister, Claudette Dion has given heads-up on the singer’s health condition.
According to Claudette Dion, the singer has yet to discover a medication that effectively treats her stiff person syndrome (SPS).
Recall that in December 2022, the Canadian singer revealed that she had been diagnosed with an incurable condition that causes muscles to stiffen compulsively.
Additionally, due to her fight with the neurological condition, Céline Dion announced the cancellation of all of her forthcoming world tours for 2023 and 2024 in a public statement made on her Twitter account in May 2023.
In a recent interview with Le Journal de Montreal, Celine’s sister disclosed that the singer’s health has not improved much since her diagnosis
She acknowledged the difficulties in finding the right medication but remains hopeful that a solution will eventually be found.
Claudette said.“We can’t find any medicine that works but having hope is important. We are working closely with researchers who are specialised in the rare condition,”

As a result of persistent health problems, Quebec superstar Celine Dion has announced on Saturday that she would not be able to perform the North America leg of her “Courage world tour,”
“I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient,” the singer wrote on Twitter.
In November 2021 with a slate of performances in Las Vegas, Dion had been scheduled to resume her world tour after a pause due to the pandemic.
Those dates were canceled in October after she began “experiencing severe and persistent muscle spasms,” she said at the time on Twitter.
The singer had hoped to continue the tour in March, starting in Denver and traveling over two months to 15 other cities across the United States and Canada
