The recent months have presented quite a testing time for the Top Nigerian artist, Wizkid, who tragically lost his dearly beloved mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun.
On the 12th of October, WizKid, alongside his sisters and other family members, organized a lavish funeral service in honor of their late mother. The event drew in a notable crowd of friends and colleagues, creating a significant turnout to pay their respects.
Videos from the funeral rite service and ceremony went viral on the internet, showing the singer’s sweet moment in the company of his sons and talent manager Jada P.
Wizkid was caught on video shedding tears, his heart heavy with sorrow during the service.
In his heartfelt speech, WizKid expressed that the ache of losing their mother to the clutches of death runs deep and stings like a thorn in the heart. He offered up fervent prayers, asking for divine strength to fortify him and his family in carrying the weight of this loss.
The Singer continued by extending his gratitude to all those who graced the ceremony with their presence. He also commended his family members for standing together in unity during this somber period.
