The Nigeria music industry has been enveloped in despair and sorrow since the news of singer, Mohbad, broke yesterday, Tuesday.
Reactions have continued to trail his demise as colleagues and contemporaries in the industry pay tributes to the talented singer.
His fans and music lovers have also taken to their various media pages to pay their last respects to the artiste.
The reactions to his death oscillated between finger-pointing and outright accusations of certain persons to the praising of his artistry and the kind of personal life he lived.
He was laid to rest in his country home in Ikorodu on Wednesday.
However, actions and conducts of certain persons, believed to be relatives of Mohbad, at his burial have got tongues wagging.
At his interment on Wednesday, some persons were seen threatening to dispossess Mohbad’s wife of the singer’s properties and vital documents.
The wife, who was not present at the burial of her husband, is currently with a five months old baby which she had for Mohbad.
The said persons also warned her not to show up at Mohbad’s family house.
Expectedly, the incident has sparked reactions online with many social media users expressing disgust at what happened.
An X user with the moniker Uloma bemoaned the culture that allowed the family of a man to hound a widow after the demise of her husband.
