An All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Lagos, Joe Igbokwe, has argued that the political career of People’s Democratic Party (PDPs) Atiku Abubakar was “crushed” by former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s book ‘My Watch’.
According to Igbokwe via his well-known Facebook page on Saturday, “My Watch” Atiku “stopped”.
Recall that the former Nigerian leader noted in Obasanjo’s book, Volume 2, pages 31 to 32:
“What I didn’t know, which later came to the fore, was his parental background which was somewhat shadowy, his tendency towards corruption, his tendency towards infidelity, his inability to tell and hold on to the truth all the time, a tendency towards poor judgment. , his belief in and reliance on marabouts, his lack of transparency, his reliance on money to work his way through all issues and his willingness to sacrifice morality, integrity, decency, truth and national interest for self-interest and selfish interest. ”
Apparently, Igbokwe harassed the opposition, writing: “May we not forget the book that stopped Atiku and crushed his political career in Nigeria.”
