Actress Mercy Aigbe has responded to a social media post from her ex-husband Lanre Gentry, expressing his joy at marrying a new wife.
In 2017, the actress and her ex-husband divorced due to domestic violence. Gentry married another woman over the weekend, claiming she had calmed him down after a series of ugly fights on social media.
Mercy Aigbe stated in a new Instagram post that she’s nobody’s ex and added a thumbtack symbol.

Lanre Gentry married his new bride, Oluwabusayo, yesterday in a ceremony attended by family, friends and supporters of the tycoon.
The billionaire praised his new wife on Instagram and thanked her for being his prayer warrior and always there for him.
“Having a good wife by your side is a great blessing from God on every journey of a man’s life,” he wrote in a heartfelt greeting to his wife. Thank you for staying by my side.

Meanwhile, Aigbe begged her husband to sign the divorce papers in a recent interview.
She said, ‘Please, everyone should call on him to sign the divorce papers. He has even refused to accept them. We are still married and not yet divorced. The divorce is not finalized yet.”
