Kylie Jenner has broken her silence on the tragedy that occurred at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival.
Reports show that at least eight people were killed and hundreds more injured in the event that took place Friday in Houston, Texas.
In response to the development, 24-year-old Jenner, the mother of Scott’s daughter, issued a statement on Saturday, Nov. 6, saying she and Travis are devastated by what happened.

She said they were not aware of the fatalities until the news reached them and expressed her condolences to all the families mourning the loss of their loved ones.
“Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who have lost their lives, were injured or were affected in any way by yesterday’s events.

“And also to Travis, who I know cares deeply about his fans and the Houston community. I want to make it clear that we were not aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing.
“I extend my deepest condolences to all families at this difficult time and will pray for the healing of everyone affected,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
