Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to Laide Bakare’s alleged call-out on WhatsApp about an actress who became an LP supporter because of a man, forgetting what MC Oluomo had done.
Setting the record straight, Iyabo Ojo reiterated the phone conversation she reportedly had with Laide Bakare regarding the issue.
The mother of two claimed the Yoruba Nollywood would ‘scatter and blow’ if they spread rumours, and stated that Laide Bakare called to tell her the WhatsApp messages are not from her.
Iyabo Ojo admonished Bakare to publicly deny the messages as she did on phone.
She wrote;
“When is not that the Yoruba industry wants to scatter & blow…. It definitely has to be a fake WhatsApp.“@laidebakare just called me & drew my attention to a post on gistlovers page, she said she was shocked when she saw a fake WhatsApp chat with her picture and name on gistlovers page chatting shit about me.
She said it’s a lie & it’s fake ….Please, whoever sent it to gistlovers should please stop nonsense…. gistlovers, please dey try dm & verify first, please@laidebakare abeg leave dance small come clear the air, repeat wetin you tell me for phone make world people here…….”
Hours ago, we reported that Laide Bakare shaded an actress over their support for Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Following Peter Obi’s loss at the February 2023 presidential election, Laide Bakare, on WhatsApp story reportedly mocked her colleague, who many claimed was Iyabo Ojo.
She alleged that the unidentified actress became a Labor Party supporter because of a man (probably referring to Iyabo Ojo’s relationship with Paulo Okoye, who is Igbo).
She noted how the actress was on several Instagram live behaving like a saint. Meanwhile, she, Laide, has evidence of her atrocities.
She wrote:
“Now we are winning. If u talk, u collect 100%. Plus una mama wey turn to LP cause of d**k. Doing Live video as if she’s a saint. I av my evidence.This year make everybody dey their land and if u want wahala let’s drag ourselves from status to Instagram. I av d message u sent to MC Sept 15th Mtchewwwwww”.
