Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has taken to social media after colleague Shan George claimed she never had an intimate relationship with controversial clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman.
It all started after George responded to allegations from Gist lover blog that she had an intimate relationship with the man of God.
Commenting on Instagram on Monday, July 25, 2022, George said she has never had any intimacy with the pastor.
“One of the nicest and honest people I know is Apostle Johnson Suleiman. As in his numerous sermons, he speaks bluntly as it is, and I generally respect that. Not everything is about intimacy.” she wrote.
“As for Gistlover, he’s a person I’ve never met but who I also have a lot of respect for. Bcos hr speaks for d trampled and he doesn’t care if the bullet hits him. I can’t deny my people, we respect.” But I never went out with the apostle. I am water, I get no enemy. #positivevibesonly #onelove.”
In a quick response, Abubakar criticized her former friend and colleague for her comments.
“Lol Shan Shan, you forgot Wetin, did you tell me right? Omg..Don’t look for my problems Shan George. I salute you,” she said.
Clearly shocked by Abubakar’s comments, George denied referring to her in her post.
“@halimabubakar swthrt we’ve been colleagues and sisters in the industry for over 20 years, we all talk nice things when we’re all girly, cheerful or at work. But how does that translate to me looking for your troubles? I mention your name happens to be somewhere in my post? I honestly don’t understand. What’s going on? How did this become so that au and me matter?” she replied.
