Fr Kelvin Ugwu, a Malawi- based Nigerian missionary priest, has taken a swipe at a follower who slammed him for having lunch with a woman in a hotel.
The missionary priest had earlier announced that he has been posted to The Gambia and will be leaving Malawi next month.
On Thursday, he posted photos of himself with a Malawian follower, Peggy Chimwemwe, who invited him for a goodbye lunch at a restaurant located in a hotel.
Reacting to the post, a follower Dicta Ogodo commented: “Going to hotel with a woman for goodbye lunch. What should we learn from this one”
Fr. Ugwu posted a screeshot of the comment and advised Ogodo to ask God to purify his dirty mind.
“Dicta Ogodo, Okay, remove hotel, put “restaurant”. Okay, remove “restaurant,” put “public place”. Okay, remove “public place,” put “God purify my dirty mind”, and you will see that you would have learnt something. And if you still did not learn anything, remove “God purify my dirty mind” and put “Ewu Gambia” he wrote.
